Reporting Your Mission Health Experience
RECLAIM HEALTHCARE WNC is committed to reporting, to the federal and state regulatory agencies that are charged with ensuring that safe and quality care are offered by Mission Health, the problems patients and families have experienced while in any Mission Health facility.
If you would like to share your story with us, we have a team of physicians and nurses who can talk to you about your experience and help you with the reporting process. You can submit your story to RECLAIM HEALTHCARE WNC HERE.

Affiliated Monitors, Inc. is the independent monitor service contracted by Dogwood Health Trust to oversee HCA’s compliance with the Asset Purchase Agreement (APA), which outlines the commitments that HCA made when they purchased Mission Health. Adverse experiences or complaints regarding patient care at any Mission Health facility can be reported to the Affiliated Monitors at: mission@affiliatedmonitors.com
The North Carolina Attorney General’s Office has a consumer complaint line, 919-716-6000 (en Español): (919) 716-0058), and an online complaint form (en Español) where consumers can file complaints about HCA.
NC DHSR CIHCP investigates complaints regarding the care and services provided to patients, residents and consumers by healthcare facilities, agencies and homes that are licensed by the Division of Health Service Regulation. Report a complaint online to NCDHHS HERE.
Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries can file complaints about their healthcare or healthcare provider through the following avenues.

The Joint Commission is an accrediting body for hospitals and healthcare organizations. It receives complaints about quality of care and patient safety. Complaints can be filed online with Joint Commission HERE.
